Wedding Talk: My Rings!

It took me FOREVER to figure out what I wanted, I’m horrible at making decisions, really…  I finally decided on a channel set eternity band (it would bug me if my ring kept turning around all the time).  I really wanted a band that would not overshadow my engagement ring, but it would also stand out on its own.

All the local stores were quoting us anywhere from $2,000-3,000 for a platinum eternity band (my engagement ring is platinum, so white gold was not an option), so I did tons of research online and saw great reviews for the Facets Collection.  The prices were also hard to beat.  Since Karl has VA status, he got another 10% off, plus no taxes, yay!  (Active military get discounts too.)

The ring got here today, and I LOVE it!  Do I really have to wait 6 months to wear it?

(Please ignore my old-lady looking hands!)

  1. I love it!!! Very classic.

  2. Oh WOW. Your set is gorgeous! Your engagement ring is a very nice size {looks huge!!} and it goes beautifully with your band. Very, very nicely done!!

    • Thanks! My ring does look humongous in the pictures, doesn’t it? I don’t have particularly thick fingers (my rings are size 5.5 because of my big knuckles, but my finger is more of a 5 size), so my 1ct ring really goes a long way.

  5. Gorgeous!!! So classy and timeless!

  6. Wow! They look great together! It’s funny, sometimes I put on my engagement ring without my wedding band now and it looks so weird without it! I remember though, at first I thought the band looked weird. You will have to let us know how you adjust 😉

    • Oh, I bet I’ll think it’s weird at first, walking around with all that much stuff on one finger! Ack, still 6 months until I can try it on though…
