Tuesday, I got home from work and there was this big box waiting for me…
Guess what was in there?
Remember a few weeks ago when I talked about our alternative to a guest book? It’s here!
Isn’t it cute?
I’m absolutely in love with it, but I was a bit disappointed that the outline of the drawing looks like it was made with crayons…
Here is a more closer look:
See what I mean? I opened one of the pens and tested out on the back of the platter, writing my own “Karl and Carla”
I’m tempted to just use the pen to outline the drawing, but of course, I’m afraid of messing it up. What do you guys think? Keep it with the crayon look or use the pen and try to outline the characters for a more bold final look?
I would not re-line it. It looks hand-drawn and that adds to the charm!
I didn’t think about the hand-drawn adding to the charm… Good point!
Congratulations! I like it the way it is!
Hmmmm, another vote for leaving it alone. I might just leave it as is.
I think you can leave it. Everyone who signs it is going to use the dark pen, so it will make the artwork stand out more. Very cute!
I didn’t even think of that. But will the artwork stand out more if everyone is using dark pen, or just fade into the background?
It’s so cute! I also love it the way it is 🙂
It seems like most people are agreeing on telling me to leave it alone. The good thing is that I can always do it later if I change my mind, so I’m keeping as is for now.
