Koreans eat some weird stuff…

Not that I didn’t already know that…  They eat a lot of yummy things too (hello, Korean BBQ!)  But on the street market in Busan, you could buy pretty much any seafood…

Ok, now seriously, does the animal below (whatever the hell it is) look appetizing to you at all?  Because it makes my stomach churn…  I wish I got a video of the things moving, you see the thicker part of their bodies?  It would move up and down along the shaft.  GROSS.

Karl lived in Seoul for 4 years, during his time with the Army, and he even tried eating live octopus.  He swears he would never do it again – he was sick for 4 days afterwards.  But live octopus?  A specialty in some of the places.

  3. Are those geoducks? I’ve eaten some odd stuff (for an American: http://kooztop5.blogspot.com/2011/12/top-5-weirdest-creatures-ive-eaten.html), but I don’t think I could get one of those down. Mind over matter, I guess…
