I already posted a bunch of pictures of the Jellyfish Lake in Palau, but nothing like a video to see how really graceful and peaceful it was. As before, you can just click on the video below, but it’s best if you click on the HD tab and see it in its original quality.
By the way, if you’re too lazy to watch the whole thing, start watching at minute 3:00 — there will be a surprise appearance by Karl attempting his best “where the hell is Matt?” dance, and after that part you truly see howcrowded the lake was — before we though we were seeing a bunch of them, but it was nowhere close to it.
Enjoy!
I showed this to one of my daughters – we both love to watch the jellyfish when we visit aquariums. This is so cool and I hope we are able to experience it one day! And your hubby is silly 🙂
That is seriously SO cool. I love the way the light filters through the water. The footage is so clear and high quality!! I’ve only seen jellyfish in aquariums and I’m always mesmerized by them. I’m sure it was absolutely surreal to be surrounded by so many of them!
WHOA! That is incredible! There were so many of them at the end of your video. I cannot believe it! Did they touch you as you swam through them? Thanks for posting the video. Unreal.
They definitely bumped into us quite a bit. We had to swim slowly not to kill any of them (easy to do as they’re so fragile). It was definitely an unique experience!
